WATER
ENTRANCE AND THINNING
- Water that arrives at the Pinedo's Waterworks through the
collectors; North, South (residual water of Valencia city) and West ( water
of the metropolitan area, from Silla to the capital).

ELEVATION
- Water are elevated to a height of 8,28 metres by an Arquímedes
Screw, with a nominal flow of 1,24 m3/sg. or by two submerged pumps with
a nominal flow
of 1 m3/sg each one.
DOSAGE
OF REAGENTS
- Through an automatic system of pumps the reagents (iron
and polielectrolite), which cause the coagulant effect,
it means, unit the floating and dissolved particles that
exist in the residual

SAND
ELIMINATION-DEGREASING
- When water reach this phase, it is originated a lost of
speed because of the section widening that permit the sand sedimentation
and the greases floating.
PRIMARY
MOVEMENT
- Water is distributed in four decanters of 40 m diameter
and 3 m height. The capacity of each one is 3.700 m3. This decanters have
a radial bridge with underground rakes for the mood extractor and superficial
rakes for the foam harvest.
BIOLOGICAL
REACTORS
- Four reactors of 5.200 m3 unitary volume that have four
units type turbine of 189 C.V., two of them of double speed. When water
is here, the micro-organisms, which are grown up in this phase, fed on all
the biodegradable particles that there are in the water.
CLARIFIERS
- Four clarifiers of suction of 45 m diameter and 3 m height.
With a unitary volume of 4770 m3, where the sedimentation of the biological
mood is produced, taking apart the depurated water.
